FAQs:
What does the band provide?
KEEP THE FAITH provide everything for a full
evening's musical entertainment. The band comes with a full sound system
mixed by a sound engineer, lights and recorded music which can be played
between sets. Live dinner music can also be provided
at an extra cost. We can play up to two hour long sets,
or three of 40 minutes.
How loud do you play?
KEEP THE FAITH want their audiences to get up and dance to their music
and that requires a certain volume. But we always aim to play at a
level appropriate to the venue and the occasion, at a volume with which
the majority of the audience will be happy.
What does the client need to provide?
A minimum performance area of 6m x 3m, preferably a stage with a safe
supply of electricity. We'll need
easy access to the venue, so, if appropriate, car parking spaces for a
minimum of 3 vehicles should be made available. A secure changing room would be appreciated.
Please include us in any
catering arrangements. Our food does not need to be the same as the guests' and we're happy to eat in a separate room.
What are the contractual
arrangements?
On booking the band you will be sent a
contract for signature. It will specify the date, time and venue for the
function and the duration of the sets to be played by KEEP THE FAITH,
plus any other agreed details. A deposit of 10% of the basic fee
(excluding expenses) may be required on confirmation of the booking. If the
booking is subsequently
cancelled, a sliding scale of cancellation charges may apply, depending
on the proximity of the date of the function.

"What a cracking night of Northern Soul we had yesterday. Sarah's
dazzling voice and stage presence, and a top-class band doing full
justice to 30+ soul classics and a bit of bonus ska as well! Virtuoso
horn trio, tight rhythm section, crisp Fred Perrys! One of the best
nights we've had here at the town hall, come back soon!!! ... The band
were even tighter than last year. Sarah on fire and an audience
totally up for it. - Nick
Reed, organiser, Masham Town Hall
